En el folleto se analizan varios escenarios posibles del desarrollo de los países de América Latina en el siglo XXI en los marcos del concepto de la evolución macroeconómica. Las reformas estructurales del periodo transitorio de los años 90 obviamente tuvieron por su objetivo modificar principalmente el sector externo de las economías latinoamericanas, pero esto es insuficiente para lograr metas estratégicas de la "transformación productiva con equidad", diseñadas por los especialistas de la CEPAL. En el inicio de la época postindustrial se aceleraran los procesos integracionistas, у grandes agrupaciones de estados pretenderán a jugar un papel de epicentros del desarrollo mundial. En el caso de elegir una estrategia adecuada del desarrollo, los países latinoamericanos - en particular los del Cono Sur - pueden elevar sustancialmente su papel en las relaciones económicas internacionales del mundo multipolar del próximo siglo.

The brochure looks through some possible scenarios of development of Latin American countries in twenty first century within the macroeconomic evolution concept. The structural reforms of the transition period in the nineties were mainly aimed at achieving of radical modification of external sector of Latin American economies, but it\'s obviously insufficient to gain the strategic goals of "transformacion productiva con equidad" designed by the ECLA experts. In the beginning of postindustrial era the integration processes in the modern world can go faster and new and more broad alliances of nations pretend to turn into global epicenters of development. In case of selection of an adequate development strategy, the Latin American countries, particularly of the Southern Cone ones, would substantially raise their role in the international economic relations of the multipolar world of the future century.
